Peter Starr’s epic motorcycle film “Take it to the Limit” has been painstakingly re-mastered and finally available. This jam-packed DVD includes lots of bonus material, including a documentary on the making and commentary from the director. The film that set new standards for documentary production in 1980 is available in a special 30th Anniversary Special Limited Edition DVD. The package comes with a newly produced retrospective documentary on the making of the film where the stars of the movie, Roberts, Baker, Collins, DeCoster, Penhall, Bast, Bakken, Evans, Springsteen, Keener among others share their personal recollections of their contribution to the movie. For example, Kenny Roberts, Jay Springsteen and Corky Keener share their insights into the now legendary 1975 INDY Mile, where Roberts not only shocked his competitors, but the whole dirt track racing world. It also comes with a 32 page booklet containing some interesting memorabilia of the film’s history.
